1. RHP/IF Alex Vargas (2012, Calhoun HS, Freeport, NY)
Vargas stood out in all phases of the showcase, running a 6.91 sixty yard dash, throwing an event best 86 mph across the infield while showing good IF actions and although he is raw at the plate he has a loose swing and lots of potential. He topped at 88 on the mound with loose, easy arm action and is a high level two-way player to follow.
