While at the plate Jacob flashed very good bat speed with a mid-field approach. Consistently drove the baseball with authority to the gaps, but also shows the barrel control to work from line to line.
Blake McPhee

The O'Fallon, MO native showed a compact arm action while throwing across the infield topping at 84 mph. Created solid on line carry to the bag. At the plate, Blake shows a loose swing path that generated bat speed through extension. While pitching McPhee created an on line plane to the plate while releasing from a three-quarters arm slot. Consistently filled the strike zone with a fastball that ranged in the low to mid 80's, topped at 85 mph.

The 6-1, Cedar Rapids native has a lean, projectable frame. Showed a loose arm action at release from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball sat in the low to mid 80's, topping at 85 mph. Has very good feel for the both the curveball and changeup. Effectively changed speeds and planes keeping hitter of balance.

The 6-3, 185 Ib right handed pitcher has a simple, repeatable delivery with a three-quarters arm slot. Hid the baseball well while creating some crossfire action with fastball offering topping at 84 mph. Curveball had 12/6 shape with tight rotation and late, sharp depth when maintaining arm speed through extension.

Woods shows a smooth, loose path to contact while creating a line drive plane through extension. Has present bat speed and strength that generates solid backspin and carry to the outfield gaps. Showed very athletic actions defensively with good range to each side. Also ran a 6.89 sixty yard dash.

Blunt showed a compact arm action from the outfield topping at 87 mph. Throws created stiff, on line carry to the bag with accuracy. While on the mound, Jarret flashed good downhill plane with his fastball offering and changed speed with a curveball that had sharp 11/5 shape. Also showed barrel control while at the plate primarily working the baseball to the middle of the field.

The 6-3, 210 Ib right handed pitcher showed good balanced throughout delivery from a high three-quarters slot. Generated solid downward plane with fastball topping at 80 mph. Flashed sharp depth with a curveball that had 11/5 shape. At the plate flashed good jump of the barrel producing good carry to the gaps when squared.

Beck was fundamentally sound in the infield with fluid glove actions. Aggressively shifts into contact with lower half creating good bat speed through extension. Consistently squared up baseball producing loud contact to all fields.

The 5-9 right handed pitcher has a quick arm through extension form a high three-quarters slot. Fastball flashed heavy actions to the plate ranging in the low to mid 80's, topped at 85 mph. Flashed a 11/5 curveball with quality depth when maintaining arm speed. While at the plate, Crabill has the strength and bat speed to turn the barrel to contact and generate hard, loud contact to pull side.

Maintained arm speed with his changeup that produced shape, late fading to the bottom of the zone.

Hammond is a very athletic two way prospect. Ball jumped off his barrel in batting practice with a gap to gap approach. Created good torque while easily clearing his hips through the hitting zone. Topped at 85 mph while throwing across the infield, then popped a 1.95 from behind the plate. On the mound topped at 82 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot, and flashed a 10/4 curveball with good depth.

The 6-0 Wilton, IA product showed a level, line drive swing plane that generated good carry and backspin to the pull side gap when turning the barrel to contact. Also impressed while on the mound showing a loose arm action that created solid downhill plane to the plate. Sat in the low 80's, topping at 83 mph with a fastball that had good sinking action down in the zone.

The Walker, IA native flashed impressive arm speed while generating occasional arm speed run with fastball offering. Hilmer also showed very good feel for his changeup that had solid downward fade paired with a deceptive arm action.

The Owasso, OK native showed plus arm strength from the outfield. Topped at 97 mph while throwing to the bag, created very stiff, on line carry. Shows very good raw power at the plate as well with a naturally lifted plane through extension. Baseball explodes off the barrel with plus jump to the gaps. Topped at 91 mph while on the mound. Fastball jumped out of the hand very well with heavy actions to the plate. Maintains arm speed with a changeup that had solid fade, proved to be a very effective pitch for him as well.
