Jahred Butler (2018 RHP, Hemet, CA) is a strong-bodied, sturdy 6-foot-2, 200 pounds and the young righty struck out five in four innings pitched. Butler showcased a fastball up to 83 mph that had good tailing action and flashed a quality low-70s slider.

Justin Yang (2017 MIF, Fountain Valley, CA) came in to throw one inning of relief work. The righty has good mound presence and aggressive approach, as he used his 83-85 mph fastball often to get ahead of opposing hitters. He also worked in a 66-68 mph curveball.

Emanuel Dean (2019 OF, Corona, CA) is a very talented young player. The righthanded hitting outfielder is particularly strong and athletic for his grade and age, and he shows that strength and athleticism in the batter's box. Dean went 1-for-2, stinging a line drive up the middle for a single. He also has an aggressive approach on the basepaths, where he shows good instincts for reading pitchers.

Robert Schlesier (2017 3B, San Diego, CA) struck out seven hitters in his four innings of work. Schlesier showed a solid two-pitch mix in his fastball, up to 80 mph, and a low-60s curveball with 12/6 shape and good depth. Also, Schlesier had one of the Red team's three hits in the contest, as he displayed a level line-drive swing path, good plate coverage and nice balance.
