2015 Spring Top Prospect

Batting Practice Highlights

The following players stood out during their Batting Practice at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Bryce Ball (2016 1B, Mason City, IA) showed good power potential with a good lift approach.  Has strength in his swing and drove one out of the park.

Eric Senior (2015 OF, Toronto, ON) has quick hands using an aggressive approach and bat speed.  Shows good power potential driving the ball out of the park in left.

Connor Kimple (2016 OF, Whitefish Bay, WI) showed the best consistent power during batting practice driving three balls out of the park and another off the top of the wall.  He does a good job of loading on the backside.

Patrick Sisk (2017 3B, Fox Point, WI) has quick hands and shows good power with a home run.  When he is on time the ball really jumps off barrel.

Luke Farley (2015 OF, Denver, IA) has a line drive swing plane with lift.  Has solid mid field approach and has pull power and showed it off with a massive home run to left field.

Tyler Roeder (2016 SS, Cedar Rapids, IA) showed a simple line drive swing plane with a mid field approach.

Paul Rupnik (2015 OF, Newmarket, ON) has a nice line drive pull approach and the ball jumped off when centered.

Cal Stalzer (2016 SS, West Des Moines, IA) has good barrel control with a nice line drive swing plane.  
Heliot Ramos (2017 OF, Maunabo, PR) showed a simple loose swing to all fields with good projection at the plate.

Spencer Van Scoyoc (2016 LHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) has quick hands with an easy swing with solid contact.  Has quick hands and really projects at plate.

Kyle Crowl (2016 3B, Council Bluffs, IA) has a good projectable build with good hands and bat speed.  Bat projects at plate.

Ethan Hayes (2017 OF, Cedar Falls, IA) has a strong projectable build and shows good bat speed with a line drive plane.

Grant Judkins (2016 3B, Pella, IA) has easy consistent swing with good bat speed, makes solid contact and ball jumps.

Izaya Ono-Fullard (2017 3B, North Liberty, IA)  has an aggressive approach with good bat speed, has line drive swing plane with good power.

Jon Rozeboom (2016 1B, Waukee, IA) showed good power potential with a home run to left field.  Has tools to develop.

Brayden Frazier (2018 SS, Cedar Rapids, IA) has good potential at plate with a line drive swing plane and bat speed.  Ball jumps when centered.

Tyler Hillman (2017 SS, Pella, IA) has a loose aggressive swing with good extension through the ball, has good projection at the plate.
