The following players stood out during the game between the Cardinal and Kelly Green Teams at the National Underclass South Showcase.
Joseph Munoz (2018 OF, Los Fresnos, TX) has a young build ran his fastball up to 81, he also mixed in a 70 MPH change up.
Parker Dunn (2016 OF, Owasso, OK) shows good bat speed with a line drive swing plane. He also stole a base, had a hit and scored a run.
Reece Easterling (2017 SS, College Station, TX), Justin Collins (2017 C, Houston, TX), Jeffrey Elkins (2017 OF, Lafayette, LA), and Champ Artigues (2018 2B, Hammond, LA) all had a hit for the Kelly Green Team.
Kameron Levis (2017 RHP, New Caney, TX) had 8 strike outs in 4 innings of work topping at 83 with his fastball.
Tanner White (2016 SS, Cypress, TX) went 2 for 2 with a double, and 2 runs scored. Has good projection at the plate.
Myles A. Campbell (2016 LHP, Houston, TX) showed good line drive swing plane and ability to drive the ball. He went 1-3 with a double.
Turner Gauntt (2017 C, Houston, TX), Luka Green (2016 RHP, Austin, TX), Oscar Martinez (2016 OF, Spring, TX) also had a double for the Cardinal Team.
