Alex Glover is a 2022 SS/OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Tuscumbia, AL who attends Covenant Christian. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs; has some present strength to frame and additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.42 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front, works through the backhand, overall fluidity will continue to develop, shows nice arm speed through the back with full a arm action, gets on top of throws with projectable arm strength. Fields the ball out front in the outfield, some bend at the waist, gains momentum with lower half through release, full arm stroke and gets on top of throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a very wide base and a high hand set and lower back elbow at the plate. Short load with longer stride into contact, full swing path through the zone and gets extended out front. Low effort swing with some fluidity through the zone, works mostly linear, occasionally gets under the ball, shows carry off the barrel to opposite field gap well and squared up live pitching in game action. Excellent student.
