Trent Moore is a 2019 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-5 240 lb. frame from Edwardsville, IL who attends Edwardsville. Extra big well proportioned strong build, football look. Full and long arm action, shows the ball in back, lands very open with is front leg, works from the first base side of the rubber and is aimed at the left hand batter's box. High 3/4's to 3/4's arm slot, creates some downhill angle when in the zone. Fastball topped out at 88 mph,mostly straight. Primary fastball pitcher with developing feel for off speed pitches. Has big arm strength and can be an intimidating physical presence on the mound but has to get directional to the plate and live in or near the strike zone to take the next step. Right handed hitter, busy load from an open stance, downward swing plane, has the strength to hit with adjustments. Outstanding student.
