Nicholas Army is a 2021 RHP/ with a 6-1 192 lb. frame from Paxton, MA who attends St. Peter Marian Central. Large frame with strong, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.93 seconds. Hits from wide-based stance with high hands and back elbow, leg lift trigger, rotational in torso, short to the ball, quick in/out of zone with barrel, shows solid pull-side impact. Worked out in the infield, waits back, waist-bender with hands that work well, stays compact in footwork, clocked up to 72 mph on throws. Also pitched, fastball worked 71-74 mph with good command from high 3/4 slot, shows breaker with varying shape. Very good student.
