Atlee Tomasoski is a 2019 OF/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Chaminade College Preparatory. Medium frame with a solid, athletic build. Projects for additional size and strength with continue physical maturity. Ran a 7.51 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder with smooth paced, deliberate footwork while closing to the baseball. Fundamental glove actions while funneling the baseball with clean exchanges while working through transition. Showed developing arm strength from a three-quarters arm slot that generated on line carry to the bag at 79 miles per hour. Also worked out defensively form the infield showing similar smooth paced footwork while developing glove fluidity. Shows good first step quickness with some range to each side. Released from a similar three-quarters arm slot that created soft carry across the infield at 73 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and high back elbow set. Generates some shoulder tilt while launching to contact with a naturally lifted swing plane. Primarily used a mid-field approach, but showed the barrel and hand skills to use all fields at times. Consistently produced line drive, ground ball contact between the outfield gaps. Also pitched showing a short rock step to medium leg lift delivery. Compact arm circle back at separation and released form a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball flashed occasional downward angle to the plate when staying on top off offering between 64-68 miles per hour. Lower half stays in line with the plate while driving and carries momentum well through finish. Very quick to the plate when working from the stretch and proved to hard for base runners to run on. Outstanding student.
