Adam Walker is a 2018 3B/IF/OF with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Mercer, PA who attends Mercer Area HS. Large build with present physical strength proportioned pretty well throughout. Ran a 7.52 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, could attack ball more with good break down into gather, would like to see softer hands into the point of gather, clean transfer from glove to hand, average arm strength. Also took reps in the outfield, charges ball well with decent footwork at gather, long arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot into throws with similar arm strength from the infield. Righthanded hitter, slightly open stance, leg kick trigger with a deep hand load, quick hands straight to the ball, even swing plane with a long path, swings with intent and creates some leverage with some bat speed through extension, long finish, consistent line drives to the middle and pull side during round.
