Alex Householder is a 2018 OF/ with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Great Oak. Medium frame with a strong, athletic build. Frame projects for additional strength. Ran a 7.29 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with smooth paced, deliberate footwork while closing to and working through the baseball. Clean glove actions with loose exchanges while working through transition. Deep arm circle at separation and released from a three-quarters slot generating uphill carry to the bag, topped at 78 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a spread, even stance and simple front side trigger. Lower half works to contact with rotational actions. Loose, extended hand path to contact with a level plane through extension. Barrel enters and exits the zone quickly and primarily looked to work the baseball to the middle of the field. Flashed some hand fluidity at times with the ability to manipulate the bat head when on time and balanced. Excellent student as well.
