T.A. Crumbaugh is a 2018 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Frankfort, KY who attends Franklin County. Large frame with athletic build; good strength to frame at present with good projection remaining as well. Medium length arm stroke through the back with offline hook, quick arm with projectable arm speed, rotates hips well and gets online landing with plant foot. Throws from three quarters arm slot with good angles to the plate, fastball worked 80-84 mph with good sinking life, did a very good job filling up the bottom of the zone with the pitch. Mixed in slider with quality depth; thrown for a strike as well as a swing-and-miss offering down and out of the zone. Really pounded the zone with both pitches and had a very quick three innings as a result. Named to 2017 Ohio Valley Showcase Top Prospect List.
