Christian Fernandez is a 2018 C/1B, 3B with a 5-6 182 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Archbishop Carroll HS. Small framed athlete with plenty of room to grow and mature physically that brings energy to the field. Primary catcher that showed good receiving abilities. Has a low set up, quick and efficient footwork, could gain more ground to second base. Had quick release and threw online to second base. At the plate he has a square stance starting his swing with simple mechanics. Small shift to the rear leg dropping his hands simultaneously, has good bat speed and feel for contact. Good student.
