Colin Jackson is a 2019 OF/LHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Brentwood, NH who attends Exeter High School. Medium build, lean, slender frame, athletic, and lots of room to continue to develop physically and add strength. Posted a 7.50 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, charges the ball well, short arm action, and showed developing arm strength. At the plate, started with an active hand set and utilized a large leg lift timing mechanism. Barrel showed good whip through the zone and generated bat speed well. Swing got long at times with a linear swing plane and ability to get through the zone. Also pitched, started with a leg lift past belt, hip turn, short, compact arm action, online landing, and threw from an extended three quarter arm slot. Worked effectively inside on left handed hitters with minimal effort and balance. Fastball worked 73-76 mph with cut and pitched quickly and effectively. Also showed curveball with depth and developing spin at 65 mph.
