Nicholas Argentieri is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Philadelphia, PA who attends Archbishop John Carroll. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a room to fill out throughout build. Very good runner, posted a 6.82 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball with short steps and has nice footwork moving to and through the ball, gets over front side and repeats actions well, full arm action and gets on top with carry to throws out of hand. Righthanded hitter, begins with an upright stance and a high back elbow in the box. Upper body swing with a short and direct swing path, busy hands during load but gets the barrel to the ball. Projects nicely with additional lower half shift through contact, comfort hitting to pull side and generates line drive contact off the barrel when squared with occasional lift. Outstanding student.
