Nathan Crissey is a 2019 SS/UT, OF, RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Land O Lakes, FL who attends Wiregrass Ranch. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional strength. Primary shortstop with clean footwork while rounding the baseball. Displayed soft hands while funneling the baseball with fluid glove to hand exchanges. Created accurate, on line carry across the infield topping at 81 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Produces some linear shift into contact with lower half. Clean hand path to contact with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Employed a mid field approach the flashed the bat control to work the other way as well. Also pitched showing a side step to high leg lift delivery. Stayed tall on back side at gather and worked to the plate with drop and drive actions. Deep arm circle at take back and released from an over top arm slot. Created good downhill angle through the zone with fastball in the upper 70's, topped at 80 miles per hour. Curveball showed 12/6 shape with good spin and solid depth in the upper 70's. Also flashed a sinking changeup with slight fade to arm side in the low 70's. Consistently attacked the strike zone with all three pitches while keeping hitters off balance. Very good student as well.
