Justin Caesar is a 2019 SS/ with a 5-5 140 lb. frame from Glen Burnie, MD who attends Archbishop Spalding. Compact frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional strength. Ran a 7.29 sixty-yard dash. Primary shortstop with easy, fluid actions while surrounding the baseball. Moves well to each side and working through exchange well. Gets the baseball out quickly from a three-quarters arm slot generating accurate carry to the bag topping at 77 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance. Shifts into contact well with linear lower half actions. Swung intent on a smooth, loose path to contact with natural leverage through extension. Controls the barrel well throughout the zone with the ability to manipulate bat head and work to all fields. Good student. Named to the 2017 Sunshine Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
