Defensively, Crennington has a solid glove and showed good foot work around the bag at 1B. She charges bunts well, and has her body in position to throw once the ball is fielded.
Offensively, Lane is a right-handed hitter who has good front side resistance and a balanced swing. She has a good hand path to the ball which makes her contact consistent. With continued work on utilizing a more violent back side, her power potential will grow. She has some good potential and with her being so young, we think she will grow into quite the offensive threat.
