2022 PG Softball Winter Scouting Combine - Iowa
Keirah Wiseman is a 5-foot-1, class of 2025 OF/2B from Burlington, IA. Keirah is an emerging, quick twitch athlete who shows a firm fundamental foundation that should serve her well as her promising career continues. In addition to her noticeable talent on the diamond, Keirah is also a high achieving student in the classroom. She ran a 5.28 40-yard dash and was timed at 3.53 seconds from home to first. She also posted a 5'9 standing broad jump. A primary outfielder, Keirah positions quickly and plays through the fielding action with gathering momentum. She transitions well and her longer arm action allows for her 58-mph throws to show firm carry and routine accuracy. At the plate, Keirah starts in an even and balanced stance and handles the bat well in the short game. She is short and direct to contact. She is quick to and through impact and her middle-of-the-field path and contact first approach allows her to move the ball with consistency. There is potential for some gap-to-gap power as her career continues. Keirah has a solid game right now. She is certain, with physical maturity and exposure to higher competition levels, to grow that game further. The future looks bright for this obviously driven competitor.
