Ryan Meiser is a 2007 right handed pitcher from Fort Myers, Florida who attends North Fort Myers High School. He has an athletic build and is very projectable at 6' 175 pounds. Even though Ryan is a primary pitcher he had an outstanding workout. He ran a 6.81 60 and threw 84 from the outfield showing that he is a very good athlete. On the mound, he has good arm speed and nice pitchability. He throws strikes and commands all three of his pitches. His fastball had good arm side run at 78-83 mph. His curveball had tight 10-4 rotation at 74 mph and his change up had nice sink and fade at 69 mph. Meiser showed line drive contact and nice power potential. He showed good opposite field pop and nice strength in his swing. Ryan has good potential and is a solid prospect.
