Tyler Ogle is a 2008 C/3B with a 5'10'', 173 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends New Braunfels Canyon HS. He has a medium build with some present strength and an older, mature look to him. Ogle is a quick actioned catcher who runs well at 7.11 in the 60 and shifts quickly behind the plate. He showed good arm strength at 77 mph with a best pop time of 1.97. Ogle has the quickness and arm strength to lower his pop times with better fundamentals on his release. Offensively, hits out of an open stance with a wide base and has a short, compact swing. He stayed quick to the ball and showed line drive power to all fields. Ogle is probably the type of athlete who could play all over the field in a utility role at the next level because of his speed and athletic ability. He is a very good student.

Tyler Ogle is a 2008 C/3B with a 5'10'', 170 lb. frame from San Antonio TX, who attends Canyon. Ogle has a medium sized frame with a mature build. Defensively, Ogle has quick feet which really makes him a solid catch and throw guy behind the plate. His game pop times were good at 2.00 and 2.03. He has a good release with with arm strength. Ogle moves well behind the plate as well and showed good blocking skills when handling pitchers in the game. At the plate, Ogle starts with a wide stance and swings from a crouch. He uses a no stride approach and looks to keep his swing nice and simple. He maintains good balance through his swing and has leverage at contact. Ogle swings on a line drive path and has good bat speed through the strike zone. He has present gap to gap pop and makes consistent solid contact. Ogle has strong hands and a good swing. Ogle is a very good student.
