2006 Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
William Hauck is a 2007 RHP/3B that attends Walt Whitman HS and resides in Bethesda, MD with a 6'0", 150 lb. frame. William has a lean athletic build with some room to fill out. On the mound William throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short loose arm action. William has some nice run on his fastball and will make hitters put the ball in play. His curveball is average at this point but could improve when he gets his arm slot in a better position. William looks like he could add some velocity in the future and might attract the attention of some smaller colleges.
