Stewart is a big 6-3/230 right handed pitcher from Virginia with good overall strength. He has a short arm circle in back and a rotational finish out front. Stewart threw four innings in Fort Myers, showing a fastball that was in the 77-79 mph range. His best pitch was a 64-68 mph curveball that had good biting action. He hits left handed with bat speed and a long swing. Stewart is a very good student.

Craig Stewart -- Stewart is a 6-3, 225 lb sophomore pitcher with a big strong lower half. He throws from a standard ¾’s release point and his fastball was consistently in the 75-77 mph range for 4 innings. Stewart’s best pitch was a sweeping 64-65 mph curveball that had good rotation and bite to it. He did a good job of keeping both pitches in the strike zone. Lots of potential in this big sophomore. Craig is a good student.
