Billy O'Neill is a 2007 3B/IF with a 5'11'', 185 lb. frame from Gurnee IL, who attends Warren Township HS. He has a medium frame that could still add some strength. O'Neill ran the 60 in 7.65 and showed some range on defense from side to side. He threw 66 mph during infield drills and will have to work to improve his arm strength and looseness. Offensively, O'Neill hits from a rotational swing with a level, line drive type of swing. He made consistent contact spraying the ball to all fields but lacks the bat speed/strength right now to get the ball to the gaps. O'Neill is a good student.
