Jordan Hohensee is a 2010 RHP/1B that attends BGM HS and resides in Brooklyn, IA with a 6'5", 165 lb. frame. Jordan has a tall lanky frame with plenty of room and time to fill out. On the mound Jordan throws from a short arm circle with nice run on his fastball. He has a live arm with good arm speed and should see his velocity really pick up over the next few years. Jordan shows a solid 10 to 4 curveball and really just needs to work on cleaning up his mechanics some. Once he fills out into his frame more he should see his mechanics improve some. At the plate Jordan is primarily a contact hitter at this point. His swing gets long and he will need to work on shortening up and keeping his hands inside the ball. In the field Jordan makes a nice target at first base. He has solid hands and a short loose arm action. Jordan is a projectable player that should attract the attention of many college programs in the next few years.
