George Agyapong-Mensah is a 2007 OF/P with a 6'4'', 200 lb. frame from Mississauga ON, who attends Our Lady of Mount Carmel. He has an excellent athletic body, with very good strength now and the promise for more in the future. Agyapong-Mensah's best tool is his bat. He has a smooth, low effort swing from a tall, balanced stance. It doesn't look like he's swinging hard but the ball jumps off his bat and he shows plus power at times. Agyapong-Mensah stays very short and quick to the ball for someone his size, which means he makes consistent contact and will hit to all fields with some authority. He doesn't get the kind of extension in his swing you will ususally see with a power hitter and could unlock even more power in the future. Defensively, Agyapong-Mensah runs and moves well enough to be a good corner outfielder. His arm action is very restricted, though, and that will limit him to left field or more likely first base, which he also played at the event.
