Adam Hunnicutt is a 2008 RHP/OF/1B from Hoggard HS in Wilmington, NC with a 6'1", 197 lb. frame. Adam has a strong athletic build and was one of the more physically mature players at the event. On the mound Adam had an easy arm action with some arm speed. He is still young and should pick up velocity soon. He showed a solid CB and was around the plate with is pitches. Adam shows good present strength in his swing and primarily drives the ball to right field. He has a tendency to jam himself with some pitches and will need to shorten his swing to drive the ball hard consistently. In the outfield Adam showed average actions with solid range. Adam is a well developed kid that has some potential in his game. At this time he looks like a small college type player.
