Nick Bergeman is a 2007 MIF/OF/P with a 5'10'', 162 lb. frame from McFarland WI, who attends McFarland HS. He has a young body and developing strength. Bergman is an excellent runner, registering a 6.64 in the 60 and showing good quickness on the bases and in the field. He's a left handed hitter who is going to beat out some hits. He hits from an upright stance with a bit of a hand hitch to get his bat going and has a quick, aggressive line drive swing. Defensively, Bergman played both infield and outfield and showed good actions at both. He has soft hands and good balance in the infield and moves to the ball well. His arm may limit him to second base but he has all the rest of the defensive package. Bergman showed better raw arm strength from the outfield and his speed will be an asset there. Bergman is a good all around player with some veratility and projectability. Keep an eye on him.
