C. Colin Kish is a 2008 OF/P with a 6'3'', 185 lb. frame from Worcester, PA who attends Germantown Academy. He has a strong, athletic build with a high waist and broad shoulders. Kish has the potential to be top level hitter if he can make some adjustments. He has good raw bat speed and the strength to drive the ball hard. We've seen him hit with authority in the past and know the tools are there. Kish has no real trigger to start his swing right now and goes from still start to max effort with no intermediary ground between. The result is a long swing with little feel to the ball but some bat speed and extension after contact. The tools are there if a hitting coach can tap the right approach. Kishes moves well for a big athlete and has 7.23 speed on a slow track with some speed in the outfield. His outfield arm strength would improve if he would close off more before throwing. Kish is a good student.

He has a projectable body with good body potential. Kish pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. He maintains good balance through his delivery and uses a dart thrower's arm action. Kish stays online through his delivery and has a balanced finish. He gets armside run on his fastball and throws lots of strikes. He also throws a sweeping slider that had good sharpness to it in his 3rd inning of work. At the plate, Kish starts with a slightly open stance and looks to keep his hands inside the baseball. He can hit the ball to all fields and has solid power potential. Defensively, Kish has athletic actions in the outfield and gets to ball well. He runs well and has solid range. At the plate he has an aggressive approach with a smooth swing. He has very quick hands and bat speed and made consistent hard contact at the showcase. In the outfield C. Colin has good raw arm strength and an accurate arm. He really needs to work on getting online more and work on his balance and footwork. C. Colin has a smooth balanced delivery on the mound with a short arm action from a 3/4 arm slot. He has good run on his pitches and does a good job of locating pitches down in the zone. His change-up has nice run and he is efficient with his pitches. C. Colin is a solid two-player that should attract the attention of many mid-level college programs.

On the mound, he pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with easy arm action. He has a high leg kick and good balance in his delivery. He moves his fastball in and out well and he gets sink and arm side tail at 78 mph. His curveball is 65 mph with 11-5 break. Kish has an accurate arm from the outfield with solid carry at 83 mph. He is athletic at first base with a strong 77 mph arm. As a left handed hitter, he has a good balanced swing and is patient at the plate. Colin Kish is a 2008 left handed pitcher/1st baseman from Worcester, Pennsylvania, with a medium build at 6'1", 160 pounds. He has large hands and feet with wide shoulders. He pitches from a high 3/4 slot with sound mechanics and an even tempo delivery. He pitches from a high 3/4 slot with a tall and fall style delivery and a fast and loose arm. His fastball showed good arm side run at 79 mph. He has a 2-8 curveball with a tight rotation that shows good depth and sharpness at 69 mph. He did not show a change. He has good command of both pitches, and works in and out well for his age. He hits from an open stance with an upper-cut swing plane. He is a contact hitter and sprays line drives to all fields. He ran a 4.50 home to first. Defensively, he showed good range with quick feet and a solid glove. He showed very good arm strength. He has a projectable body and will add strength as he matures. He will be a high level LHP prospect in 2008.
