Tadd Bower is a 2008 1B from Clover Hill HS in Chesterfield, VA with a 6'1", 175 lb. frame. Tadd has an athletic build and really impressed at the plate during the showcase. He showed good bat speed and the ability to drive the ball to all fields at the showcase. His swing is smooth with good balance and looks to have solid upside at the plate. At first base Tadd showed solid actions around the bag with a short arm circle. On the mound Tadd had a short arm circle that could use more extension. He made hitters put the ball in play and could be an effective high school pitcher. Tadd showed alot of promise at the plate and could be a solid mid to high-level college player.
