Riley Sullivan is a 2023 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-5 125 lb. frame from Huntersville, NC who attends Hough. Small and young frame with plenty of time to continue to fill out. Ran an 8.53 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, simple side step delivery into a higher leg lift above the belt, takes arm back to a short arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, stays tall on his backside, could utilize more from his lower half for additional arm strength, creates some plane with his fastball that topped out at 68 mph with occasional late run to arm side, worked the fastball to both sides of the plate, mixed in a sinking changeup with slight cutting action, filled the zone up well with both offerings. Secondary third baseman, took reps in the infield with low effort actions fielding the baseball out in front, young footwork at gather, releases the baseball from a side arm slot with similar arm strength as on the mound. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a slightly open stance and a high hands set, takes a short stride into contact with a deep hand load, downhill swing plane with rotational actions, worked the baseball to all fields, will continue to improve with additional strength.
