Patrick Nicholson is a 2007 RHP with a 6'0'', 205 lb. frame from East Walpole, MA who attends Walpole HS. Patrick has a strong thick build with good present strength. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot and works quick with a fastball that pounds the strike zone. He does a good job of coming inside on batters and his fastball is very sneaky. Patrick throws a big sweeping breaking ball and needs to make sure he finishes center to the plate. At the plate Patrick has solid swing mechanics and does a good job of centering the ball. He good power potential at the next level. He moves well around the bag at first base and makes a good target for fielders. Patrick is a solid student that should attract attention from many mid-level college programs.

Patrick Nicholson is a 2007 RHP/1B/3B from Walpole HS in East Walpole, Massachusetts, with a big and solid 6'0"/205 pound frame. Patrick pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with loose arm action and a downward plane to the plate. He keeps his fastball down at 81 mph and has a big 11-5 breaking curveball at 68 mph. Nicholson has a solid arm from first base and moves well around the bag. At the plate, he hits from an upright stance with a relaxed approach and a knee lift trigger. He has raw power at the plate and makes consistent hard contact. Patrick is a good student.

Patrick Nicholson is a 2007 RHP/1B/3B from Walpole High School in Walpole, Massachusetts, with a tall and solid 6'0"/188 pound frame. On the mound, Patrick has a clean arm action and very good arm speed. He uses minimal effort in throwing his 81 mph fastball with sinking action. He throws a hard curveball at 69 mph with tight break and depth. Nicholson is solid defensively and he has good actions in the infield and at first base. Patrick has a solid arm across the infield at 75 mph. As a right handed hitter, he has a narrow base at the plate with good hands. Nicholson is a line drive hitter that makes consistent contact and has projectable power. Nicholson is a young two-way prospect that should be followed, and he is a good student as well.
