Brandon Swann is a 6'2"/185, (2007) RHP, from Fayetteville,GA. On the mound he showed 84-81fb with very good command and a 66-63cb with above ave hs command and life. Finishes well and driives through his release. OK mechanics with some deception. He has a long arm action and above ave arm speed. Should continue to fill out and add velocity to all pitches. A RH hitter with ok bat speed andcould have better rythm in swing. Future is on the mound. A 7.63 runner with good form. Named to the Top Prospect game.

Swann is a very athletic right handed pitcher from Sandy Creek High School in Fayetteville, Georgia who also shows some promise in the outfield. On the mound, he has a 3/4 arm slot that produces some good run on his 2 seam fastball which tops out at 83. He also showed a quality change up which had some very good depth to it. Brandon has good command of his pitches as well. In the outfield, he has a good strong arm with good carry on the ball. Swann has a short, quick bat with good bat speed and some lift to the ball which produces decent power. He is a very projectable athlete who is also a good student.

Swann is a sophomore right handed pitcher from Georgia with a very nice and projectable body for his age. He retired 10 straight hitters during his outing, 6 on strikeouts, while throwing an 80-82 mph fastball with good running action. Swann’s curveball was 64-66 mph and he got out front on it very well and created tight spin and good downer break. As Swann gets stronger and polishes up his delivery, it’s easy to see him becoming a solid Division I type of pitching prospect. Swann is also a good student.
