Bryant Colon is a 2013 RHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Jose Gautier Benitez HS. Tall slender build, very projectable physically. Long extended arm action, low 3/4's arm slot, loose whippy arm action, has some deception in his delivery. Fastball up to 88 mph, gets nice run and sinking action at times, similar action on change up. Soft curveball spin with 10/4 sweeping break. Tends to pitch in the middle of the plate at present. Chance to throw harder while maintaining big fastball life, must develop better breaking ball.
