Miguel Valles is a 2013 C with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Arecibo, PR who attends PR Baseball Academy. Medium build with good present strength. Very good arm strength behind the plate, low on line throws, arm action and release are a bit long, 1.99 best pop time, strong hands and receives the ball well, sound footwork, solid all around defensive skills and tools. Right handed hitter, leg kick trigger, front side opens early, upper half rotational swing, long power type swing, some strength on contact but will have to shorten up at the next level. Good student.
