Mike Munden is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Coronado HS. Smaller, slender build, minimal present strength. Simple calm turn and throw delivery, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, compact arm action, arm works well. Fastball to 78 mph, mostly straight, tends to pitch up too frequently with fastball. Good arm speed and fading life to change up, soft curveball spin with 11/5 shape. 7.10 runner, shows good athleticism in the outfield, aggressive to the ball, some developing arm strength with accuracy. Right handed hitter, short compact swing, spray line drive contact, limited load or shift to contact. Good student.
