Nathan Purcell is a 2015 C/RHP with a 5-10 153 lb. frame from Covington, GA who attends Alcovy HS. Medium young athletic build, has some strength. Left handed hitter, quick hands, keeps swing short and crisp, solid line drive mid field to pull contact, stays balanced and direct to the ball, has an idea how to hit, should keep improving with additional strength. 7.58 runner, flexible set up defensively, receives ball well, long arm action and release, accurate throws, 2.10 best pop time. Also pitched, well paced delivery, repeats well, fastball to 78 mph from 3/4's arm slot, soft curveball from lower slot, throws strikes and competes well. Good student.
