Alex Muhlenburg is a 2015 C/RHP/IF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Story City, IA who attends Roland-Story HS. Medium build, young look. Shows good arm strength behind the plate, good carry and accuracy, long exchange and release, will have to continue work on quickening footwork, has the tools to keep improving, also plays third base and shows arm strength and soft hands, 7.75 runner. Right handed hitter, spread stance, tends to stride open and pull off the ball, slight upper cut in swing plane, mid to opposite field contact, needs better direction towards to pitch. Also pitched, leg raise delivery, over the top arm slot, tends to fall off on release, arm works well, mid-70's fastball, topped at 76 mph, threw strikes and made the hitters swing the bat.
