Nicholas Mougin is a 2016 C/RHP/3B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Walford, IA who attends Prairie HS. Medium athletic build, some strength for his age. Right handed hitter, spread stance, simple and sound swing mechanics, line drive plane, squares the ball up well and shows some gap power, uses his hands well, has the hitting tools to keep improving with more strength. Young defensive skills and tools, receives the ball behind the plate with good hands and exchange, raw arm strength still developing, accurate throws. Also pitched, low 3/4's arm slot, compact arm action, fastball to 74 mph, soft curveball. Bat is best present tool but is you and should continue to improve. Good student.
