Elliot Correa is a 2013 RHP/C with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Chuluota, FL who attends PRBA. Shorter build with some present strength, mature look. Slow paced leg raise delivery, quick arm, loose out front, repeats delivery well, some effort at release. Steady mid-80's fastball, mostly straight with occasional running action. Slider is a nice pitch, big and nasty at 75 mph, tends to overthrow thru break at higher velocities, pounds the strike zone with both pitches and challenges hitters aggressively. Right handed hitter, swings hard and creates some bat speed, power approach, can pull the ball hard when he squares up. Third base tools defensively with good arm strength. Has the ability to be a solid college pitcher at the right level program.
