Dustin Hagy is a 2013 RHP with a 6-6 205 lb. frame from Deland, FL who attends Deltona Christian Academy HS. Outstanding pitcher's build, long and loose with plenty of projection. Simple leg raise rotational delivery, extended mid 3/4's to 3/4's arm slot, stuff is better at higher slots, low effort release. Fastball up to 92 mph, maintained velocity very well, gets plus late running life down in the zone, will break plenty of bats in the future. Inconsistent feel/spin on curveball, throws a very good curveball at 77 mph with bite and depth, softer curveballs tend to hang, flashed a nice change up with sink and good arm speed. Showed pitchability and competed hard against top level hitters. Has improved tremendously in past 6 months, was 84-88 mph in the summer. High ceiling pitching prospect. Good student.
