John (Jay) Perry is a 2015 C/1B, OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Elkton, MD who attends St. Mark's High School. Is a young strong catcher with a medium frame and has room to add more strength. Behind the plate, he gains ground with a solid transfer and an arm that works while making good accurate throws. In the outfield, he worked through the ball well with low online throws. At the plate, he had a wide set up with his wait back and a toe tap trigger. He displayed a solid stroke with a gap to gap approach with strength in his swing. John is also a good student.
