Darius Hill is a 2015 OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Plano, TX who attends Jesuit HS. Large frame, athletic build. Aggressive swing with good bat speed, hard pull contact, squared up consistently in BP. Slightly open stance, narrow and upright setup, medium swing length, flashes present pop, potential to develop power. Good extension through the ball, good looking left handed swing. Long arm action, high three quarters arm slot, loose projectable arm, could improve throwing velocity as he learns to carry his momentum through the throwing motion better, moves well defensively and can cover some ground, runs well. Good student. Interesting young player to follow.
