Tyrone Thomas is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 5-4 118 lb. frame from League City, TX who attends Clear Springs HS. Smaller build, developing strength, very young. Outstanding shortstop actions for his age, very good instincts, quick release, soft hands, natural middle infield footwork, makes plays in games. Right handed hitter, sound simple swing mechanics, squares up without strength behind barrel, hitting approach will work with more strength and physical maturity. Also pitched, loose arm action, balanced on line delivery, 3/4's release point, fastball topped at 74 mph, curveball showed some depth and spin, mixes well and throws strikes. Very young player but has all the actions and instincts, just be patient for speed and strength to kick in.
