Ryan Lawrence is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 6-0 157 lb. frame from Rochester, NY who attends Brighton HS. Medium frame, room to fill out and flashes some athleticism. Works from a high 3/4 arm slot, balanced leg raise, his arm works well and he repeats his delivery, gets very good extension out front. Pitches at 71-73 mph with his fastball and tops out at 75, commands his fastball well, not much effort to it, likes to work the inside corner. Changeup has decent actions and his feel for it is there, curveball comes in at 69 mph, flashes some decent shape and feel. Good student.
