Demetrius Sims is a 2013 SS/ with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Ann Arbor, MI who attends Huron HS. Tall angular athletic build. Very smooth defensive actions, extremely soft hands, works through the ball well, quick exchange, can throw from multiple arm angles, arm strength much better than drill velocity indicates, has flair for playing defense and does it easily. Right handed hitter, limited shift and hits from backside, downward swing plane, keeps hands tight to his body, obvious athleticism but will need a complete re-make of hitting mechanics/approach at the next level.
