Kristofer Klabunde is a 2013 RHP/3B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Davenport, IA who attends Bettendorf HS. Broad shouldered, long limbed pitcher's build, good strength potential. Back turn delivery, short stride in front and doesn't get hips cleared to use lower half, pole vaulter, needs to lengthen stride to improve lower half use. Fastball topped at 78 mph, some sinking life. Nice change up with life and arm speed, varies curveball velocity, best when thrown hard at 69 mph with deeper shape and some bite. Changes speeds and has an idea how to pitch. Right handed hitter, very spread stance, long pull swing with high finish, limited weight transfer, flashes bat speed when extended. Good student.
