Max Ponzurick is a 2014 3B/OF with a 6-3 228 lb. frame from Greensburg, PA who attends Greensburg Salem HS. Extra large, extra strong build, will have to work hard to retain looseness. 7.09 runner, agile for his size, very good arm strength both in OF and at third base, accurate throws with long release, equal skills/tools at both positions. Right handed hitter, bent knee stance with limited shift, late hand load, quick hands, pull approach, stays short enough, ball comes off the barrel well, flashes power potential, tends to expand the zone in games.
