Right handed hitter, good balanced stance, quiet quick hands to the ball, uses his lower half well, power approach, looking to pull and lift and will occasionally open early, smooth swing mechanics, has present bat speed and natural loft, big offensive potential. Good hands receiving, quick release, developing arm strength, accurate throws, 2.06 best pop, improving lower half quickness will be key in defensive development. Joey Polak is a 2016 C/IF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Canton, MO. Very tall and strong for his age, projectable body. Youngest player in attendence but wasn't the least bit intimidated. Faced toughest group of pitchers in attendance, held his own against 90+ velocity. Very projectable hitting tools, emerging bat speed, some present hitting ability. Some present strength, middle away hitting approach, quick hands, short to the ball, loads with hips, strong through contact. Will be real interesting to see his development, real promising showing as a 14 year old, very young and interesting prospect to follow.
