Brandon Chinea is a 2016 MIF/OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Miami, FL. Very young, very athletic ballplayer. Chinea grabbed the attention of scouts with his performance, with many wondering if his listed graduation year of 2016 was a misprint (it wasn't). Highly polished for his age, Chinea stood out in the infield workout with quick athletic actions, soft sure hands, a quick projectable arm and accurate throws. Plays with a high energy motor and a baseball IQ beyond his years. Good hitting approach, consistent hard contact, quick hands, balanced swing, hard line drives, very projectable hitting tools, hammered a triple off the deep fence in left center against live pitching. Exciting young player to follow.
